Running your motor at 100% of its rated power, but yet chocking that motor by adjusting a valve means that you are paying heavy electricity bills for wasted energy. Matter of fact you are paying for chocking your motor in turn reducing its lifespan. A VSD will ensure that your motor is running with just the right amount of power for the pressure or the speed you require. A 25% decrease in the motor speed using a VSD will save you more than 50% of the electricity you would have paid if in place you had used a valve.
